  • "App": The ‘Dude, Where’s My Stuff? By Cadence Sports (‘Cadence’) software platform, including backend services, used for locating, tracking, and managing passengers and assets.
  • "Assets": Passengers, Bikes, bicycles, luggage, bags, and related items tracked via the App.
  • "Administrator/Staff": User responsible for assigning tasks, monitoring asset locations, and managing driver activities.
  • "Driver": User responsible for transporting passengers and assets and providing location updates through the app.

2. Information We Collect

To operate the App, we collect the following data:

  • Registration Data: Name, username, and contact information provided during account creation.
  • Location Data: Real-time GPS location data from Driver mobile devices during active transportation.
  • Asset Status Data: Scan-in/scan-out logs, location history, and status updates regarding passengers and assets.
  • Usage Data: Information regarding how the App is used, including login times and task updates.

3. USAGE & CONDUCT

To operate the App, we collect the following data:

  • Permitted Use: The App is provided solely for tracking and managing passenger/asset transportation.
  • Driver Responsibilities: Drivers agree to keep the App active during transportation, provide accurate location data, and report asset status promptly.
  • Safety & Prohibited Behavior:
    • All drivers are strictly prohibited from holding, supporting, or manually operating any mobile electronic device while their vehicle is in motion.
    • If a driver must make/receive a call, use SMS, or use the app while in motion, they must use an approved hands-free accessory (e.g., Bluetooth systems, properly mounted phone holder).
    • Devices must be positioned so they do not impede the view of the road.
    • Drivers may only touch the device to initiate, answer, or terminate a call.

8. SMS / Text Message Communications


Cadence Sports offers SMS text updates through the "Dude, Where's My Stuff?" app for event asset (bike) transport notifications.

Types of messages: When you provide your mobile number and opt in during event registration, Cadence Sports may send you load confirmations (your bike has been loaded), in-transit updates (delivery status and estimated arrival), and arrival confirmations (your bike has arrived and is ready for pickup), plus occasional support follow-ups in response to a request you make. Message frequency varies but is generally 3 messages per event (Loaded, In Transit, Arrived).


How to opt in: Provide your mobile number and check the SMS consent box during event registration.
